365: Spider-man 3

I know I already had this post a long time ago, I am too frazzled to try and figure out how to undelete, but it is gone. Just putting this here to say that it was deleted by accident. What can I say about the movie a second time? Not the best, it was okay. Hated how they did Venom and the Sandman could've been better, but wasn't as bad as Venom. There. Done. Moving on!

Last and final mass movie post! I finally did it guys/gals, I completed my movie goal today!!!! I can't believe that I watched 461 movies in one year! I also can't believe I own that many movies! Now I did give some away and weeded some out, but I mean, seriously. This is insane and I am so proud of myself. Finally completing something that I said I would do, that is so huge. 134: Ghost Ship

I am going to be honest...I bought this 6+ years ago because it had Karl Urban. I did that with a few movies he was in like Price of Milk (no longer in my collection, couldn't get past the weirdness and it being over a quilt and cows), Doom, Pathfinder and I fully intend on seeing another movie with him in it if it shows up on Netflix/Hulu or is cheap to rent on Prime. Anyways, off of Karl and his rugged, long haired, plaid-ness. Apparently my mom hadn't seen this in a long time and while we were watching it, the opening reminded her of a Disney movie and not just any Disney movie but Tower of Terror. The pink credits, the music, the 1960's setting and the fact that people died before completely vanishing and leaving a boat behind. Throughout the movie I saw the similarities. A little girl. The movie where they met and we saw them fall in love. I think they really do compliment each other and I am glad that they found their way back to each other. You can tell in this movie the love there is and thanks to Nicholas Sparks for bringing them together. It is a little weird to watch Miley as the angsty, mean teenager in the first half of this movie since I'm used to seeing her kind, happy and funny. She pulled it off because it made me uncomfortable. It kind of reminds me of my dad and I when I watch this. We both share music as a common interest and he taught me everything I know about it with him teaching guitar and stuff. We also had a struggle in really connecting once I got older like these two did. The past few years we have gotten better and watching Ronnie and her dad bond as the movie progressed made me cry.
