323: RED

Retired. Extremely Dangerous. I can't tell you how funny this is or how awesome this is. I can tell you that if you didn't love Helen Mirren before, you will love her now. She is a badass! You also get a softer side to Bruce Willis in an action movie. Calling a woman about a check only to talk to her and find out what romance action novel she is reading and then reads it! He really picked a winner, being able to think on her feet and calmly taking being tied up and gagged well at the beginning. I mean for her to find out that those novels she reads can be reality, maybe not the overdone romance, but to go on an adventure herself sort of along the same lines. She even says herself, "This is just like Love's Savage Secret."

It does bring up a very good point with the old agents. I can't imagine having to reintegrate back into society after all that you have witnessed, killing, missions, not trusting anyone, always on the move, saving or changing the world. That has to be very hard when you retire or try and get away from it. Like Helen's character, I guess sometimes you don't 100% get away with it. You have to scratch the itch.

Well I will end with what my favorite parts. The first is with the rocket launcher lady and getting blown up from a perfect shot to the tip of the rocket and blow back. And the second is the fight between Karl Urban and Bruce Willis to the music, "Back in the Saddle" by Aerosmith.
