305: Premonition

Okay, second time seeing this movie. It has been 11 years since then and since it came out. I have to say, this movie is good but it is emotionally and mentally taxing. We are giving this movie away because we can't go through it again. Sandra does an amazing job of going through the stages of grief, confusion, and all around chaos of having her days shuffled around to piece together how to stop the death of her husband from happening. I mean along the way she finds out that he was going to cheat on her, that her marriage wasn't what it was and what she wanted. But she found out just what was worth fighting for.

I have had my own experience like she did, where a loved one of mine had come to me in a dream to tell me they were going to die. Thankfully it wasn't like what she went through and I don't think I could go through that. But most of the time, you see, read or hear others who have premonition dreams that tell of disasters or people dying close to you. The behind the scenes had stuff that inspired some of the movie. Watching her explain how she was starting to feel like she was going crazy, wanting to get away from that but the director mentioning it was good, that is what they wanted...it might have been good with what they got out of it, but now you can't get away with that. They have psychiatrists on set to help actors get through where they have to go for their art and material.

Definitely a good movie if you like a movie that makes you think, kind of a psychological thriller for sure.
