187: Iron Man



Once again I forgot to do this last night. I was just so tired and honestly forgot! Anyways, the first movie that started it all in the Avengers universe. I know that Captain America is technically the first Avenger, but Iron Man was the first Avenger in the movie world before we even knew where they were going. Music rocks, I mean classic rock? Love so much, I grew up on that awesomeness. Also you get Jeff Bridges as the bad guy and he is an amazing actor, looks good with hair and without hair. I love this movie because it shows just how he wanted to be a better person and help others, I mean he got the idea being hostage in a mountain, with shards moving towards his heart and a car battery hooked up to a magnet in his chest....but you have to start somewhere and he created the icon suit.

I do have to say I prefer Terrance as the buddy than the new guy they chose to be War Machine in the future movies. I said out loud when he looked ate the none painted silver suit in Tony's workshop at his house and he said next time, "No there is no next time, because you got replaced." With a sad face of course. I know that the actors worked out their problems a couple years ago, which is nice, but too little too late to replace War Machine. *Shakes head*

Anyways, I need to finish getting ready for work and head on out. Thought I would get this out there before then and I timed it just right. Have a happy Friday everyone!

Last and final mass movie post! I finally did it guys/gals, I completed my movie goal today!!!! I can't believe that I watched 461 movies in one year! I also can't believe I own that many movies! 168: Hobbit - The Battle of the Five Armies

First off...HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!!! Now I can get into the movie. This is my 2nd time seeing this one and I forgot that two people died at the end and not just Kili. I mean I cried, I cried really hard when the Elf King told her the reason why it hurt so much was because her love for him was real. My big emotional scale through this movie was, anxiety from all the battle going on, to "come on Thorin, get your head out of your ass", to "YAY THORIN IS BACK", to back heartbreak at the death of Fili, Kili and Thorin, to glad the war was over and Bilbo could go home...of course only to find out his personal effects were being auctioned off. I mean I know there is a lot of CGI in this movie and this one is my least favorite, but not because of that reasoning that is so many others'. 327: Riddick

Back to basics. To the animal side. The Furian side. Let's be honest here, the dog stole the show. We all want Riddick's dog, that one, not his brother or his sister, that dog. Now that that is cleared up, I do like that they went back to the rated R that this movie is and deserves. Yeah I do love the Chronicles of Riddick movie, a lot and it is my favorite, but there is something lacking. With this you also get the whole survival of the fittest, lone wolf, in the middle of nowhere man trying to find his home and who he is again. It also wouldn't be Riddick without throwing it back to the Pitch Black days. Aliens that come out in the cover of darkness or in this case, rain. Then you also get the father of the man who was being a douchebag in Pitch Black. You know, the one that wanted to kill the girl to save his own skin? Yeah that one. Glad to know that his father is a better man than he was, but kind of sad to watch him find out the horrible thing about his son.
