308: Prince & Me





Years have passed since I have first seen this movie. At first I didn't like it when I was younger and now I mean...it is okay, it is cute, but I have honestly seen better movies. If I want to watch a Julia Styles movie I will watch 10 Things I Hate About You, she plays that kind of character really well. Even though she isn't such a teenager who hates the world in this movie. Just more of someone who is driven and knows what she wants and doesn't want, love takes a backseat to her goals. Then you get someone who is all about frivolity, irresponsibility, and constantly needing to find himself.

I do like the down to earth, country side bit of it and some of the lessons learned by both Paige and Eddie. I am deeply contemplating keeping it or just giving it to my mom. She will like it better than me, it is her type of movie more than mine and if I want to watch it again, I will just watch it with her or borrow it. Prince & Me is just not really....for me. You know?

Last and final mass movie post! I finally did it guys/gals, I completed my movie goal today!!!! I can't believe that I watched 461 movies in one year! I also can't believe I own that many movies! 168: Hobbit - The Battle of the Five Armies

First off...HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!!! Now I can get into the movie. This is my 2nd time seeing this one and I forgot that two people died at the end and not just Kili. I mean I cried, I cried really hard when the Elf King told her the reason why it hurt so much was because her love for him was real. My big emotional scale through this movie was, anxiety from all the battle going on, to "come on Thorin, get your head out of your ass", to "YAY THORIN IS BACK", to back heartbreak at the death of Fili, Kili and Thorin, to glad the war was over and Bilbo could go home...of course only to find out his personal effects were being auctioned off. I mean I know there is a lot of CGI in this movie and this one is my least favorite, but not because of that reasoning that is so many others'. Everything is fish-i-fied! Krispy Kreme? Nope, Kelpy Kreme. Car wash? Whale wash. Time Square? Yeah that is now a reef that looks like it. Even though the animation is different and older than what we are all used to, since it has grown in quality, I still like this movie. Hilarious and the fish look like the people who voice them! Will Smith as a fish...actually just Will Smith voicing animation is perfect. He has the perfect comedy and way of talking and reacting that is pure magic. So that makes me really excited to see him as Genie in the new Aladdin movie coming next year. ;) See how I transitioned? Anyways, I still have the lyrics, "Working at the car wash," in my head today. Can you believe it? I am almost entirely caught up and we watched this yesterday. Speaking of....HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
